Abiola is an Engineer by profession and a Member of Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers,
Nigerian Society of Engineers and The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria
(COREN). He worked for Modern Industries Ltd, Kano as a Trainee -Production Engineer, Total
Nigeria Plc as Branch Sales Engineer and Head, Sales Engineer, Eterna Oil & Gas Plc as Commercial Manager, Eterna Industries Ltd as Plant Manager and later became the MD/CEO, Acorn Petroleum Plc, as Executive Director (Operations) and presently Chief Consultant of Ifara Global Resources Ltd.

Abiola has over 35 years experience in the downstream Oil & Gas Industry. He has hands-on experience in all facets of the industry, spanning manufacturing, sales and marketing, technical services, and product application. Also, he had diverse exposure in the operations of multinationals in the downstream sector in France, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Belgium, and Nigeria.

He is a truly seasoned, versatile and experienced Chemical Engineer.

Abiola is a member of Lagos Country Club and he is happily married.
