Kalada Apiafi is a Management Consultant with over thirty years experience in Private and Public Sector Consulting. He is a certified trainer and trainer of trainers from reputable organizations within and outside the Country, including the Centre for Management Development (CMD). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria and holds an M. B. A. from the University of Liverpool.  

He is an International Training Fellow of JCI Training, USA and a mentor of mentors. 

Kalada Apiafi has conducted training sessions in various parts of the world including Burkina Faso, Cameroun, Denmark, Gabon, Nigeria, Ghana, Tunisia, South Africa and India.

An expert in Capacity Building Programmes and vast in training content development and delivery, most of his years have been spent in facilitating entrepreneurial, leadership and personal development programmes. 

He has successfully handled training sessions, workshops and retreats for International Organizations, Government Agencies, Corporate Organizations, Oil and Gas Industry, Insurance Companies, NGOs and the Media. His facilitation expertise include: Negotiation Skills, Business Management, Performance Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Personal Effectiveness, Team Building, Change Management, Communication, Leadership Development, Creative Problem Solving, Leadership, Service Delivery and Strategic Business Planning.  

As a Consultant to USAID, he successfully facilitated a Management Training and Staff Team Building Retreat for the Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary Political Affairs, Defence and Security (DES - PADS), ECOWAS which took place in Nigeria and Ghana.

He has worked with the following organizations in delivering training solutions: Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC), Brass LNG, International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), various State Governments, Cable Mission TV Network (CMTV), Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), MTN, Society for Family Health, USAID/ECOWAS, among others.

He is currently the Lead Trainer for an NLNG sponsored Education Support Programme.

Kalada Apiafi is presently the Managing Director of Wider Perspectives Limited, a Management Consulting firm with Head Office in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

He is currently the Chairman of the Advisory Board, Fate Foundation Port Harcourt which is one of the leading entrepreneurship development NGOs in the country and actively involved in Junior Chamber International (a worldwide Federation of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs). In 1997 he was conferred with Senatorship of the organization, making him a life member. He also serves on the Board of Boff and Company Ltd (Insurance Brokers) and is Chairman, Board of Governors, Brookstone School, Port Harcourt

Kalada Apiafi is a Council Member of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce.


Edughom Hanson is an Economist and Chartered Accountant. She is the Deputy Managing Director Wider Perspectives Limited she is also a Certified Trainer of JCI, Center for Management Development (CDM) and business Edge, an IFC SME Management Solutions Package. She has trained on strategic planning for many organization including Brass LNG Limited, Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited and MTN Nigeria.

She has been involved in a number of Strategic/ Development Planning Projects including Developing a Blueprint for One Village One Product Scheme, on behalf of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE) sector study for Niger Delta Regional Development Master Plan Sponsored by Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)

She has strong experience experience in developing Business Plans and Feasibility Studies for start ups and expansion projects including Cable Mission Television Network (CMTV), Expansion into Production of PET Bottles for a Bottles Water Producer, Feasibility Study on a Floating Dock Ship Repair Project for the African Project Development Facility (Managed by International Finance Corporation).


Jacob Abaye is the Head of our Sustainable Development Unit. He is a certified trainer with the Center for Management Development (CMD) Nigeria. He is also a certified safety professional with the Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals (NISP).

He plans and implements the execution of client assignments in the area of Corporate Community Consulting with particular emphasis on Monitoring and Supervision of Community Development Projects for Shell Nigeria host communities.

He has Monitored, evaluated and reviewed several Micro-Credit Schemes in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria, which includes National Poverty Alleviation Programme (NAPEP) and presently the Project Coordinator Implementation of SPDCs’ Global Memorandum of Understanding (GMoU) Project in 4 communities. The GMoU is a strategic management community interface model, aimed at addressing

Business, in line with community social sustainable development through funding and institutional development. The community is now responsible for its development process.

Moreso, his experience also includes Business Enterprise Training (BET) for Youths from Northen Swamp, Jones Creek and Ugboren Communities in Delta State.

He was a support Consultant- Tracer studies, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) conducted on behalf of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) H-Block Neighboring Communities which includes Odioma, Okpoama, Beletiama, Twon-Brass, Ewo- ama, Diema in Bayelsa State.

He was also the lead consultant that conducted the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Community Development Plan (CDP) on behalf of  Afren Energy Resources for their host communities in Mbo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

In addition, He was also a support Consultant SPDC,s sponsored intensive Workforce training for youths from Afam Project Host Communities.


Benwari Tarinyu is the Team Lead of the Human Capital Unit of Wider Perspectives Limited. He is an expert in personnel selection and has implemented projects for organizations.  He has handled and organized trainings, seminars, and symposia for corporate bodies, financial houses and the oil and gas industries.

                                              He is a prime graduate of the JCI University.
As an expert in personnel selection he has implemented projects for Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority (GPHCDA), Frigate Upstream and Energy Services Limited amongst others. 

He is the project manager for the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) - Education Support Services and has handled several other development projects as project manager, some of which include:

Facilitation of a Community Content Business Leadership and Business Clinics Workshop on behalf of SPDC, Development Training Programme for Nigerian Agip Oil Company Indigenous Contractors, Business and Personal Development Programme on behalf of IFC&MTN.


Hope Prince-Iroha is the Acting Team Lead of our Corporate Strategy Unit. She develops the firm’s short and long term strategic goals for the firm and client firms and seeks out partnership opportunities with external vendors and organizations. She has undertaken several projects on SME development and training


She ensures the attainment of the firm’s objectives through effective management and efficient coordination of the operations of the Corporate Strategy Business unit and provides direction and leadership towards achievement of the company’s vision, mission and business strategy as it relates to Corporate Strategy unit.

She is a Certified Trainer of the JCI University and Trainer of trainer for the SME Toolkit Nigeria. She was the assistant programme coordinator for the World Bank MSME BDS Nigeria Project and presently supervising the Abia State SMEs Development Project
